![]() Whilst one of my friends suggested it earlier, I don't know how to copy only the Legion content back onto your Live WoW folder, someone in the comments may know. You should now be left with a 'however big Legion is' download. ![]() Once your main WoW has been copy/pasta'd into your PTR folder, go back to the launcher and under the Setting's Cogwheel, click 'Scan and Repair'. Copy -> paste your main WoW into the PTR folder. If you have a semi-downloaded version of the PTR, then delete it. Once the 'Downloading 20GB' thing appears, pause it. Make note of where the PTR is being installed to. Press 'Install' on the PTR, and allow the launcher to setup all it's stuff. This mini-guide will have you avoiding installing the whole game, and only just the legion bit, provided you currently have live installed and updated.Īssuming you haven't 'installed' PTR start at step 1, if you have, start at step 2. Note: The size of the legion patch is 20GB, atleast this way you avoid downloading the other 32GB.
